Wayside Wedding

Chatham is a wonderful location for a destination wedding, and here at the Chatham Wayside Inn, we can offer you one, two or three events with which to celebrate your wedding!

The Rehearsal Dinner is always a fun evening, as family and friends arrive from all parts of the globe. Catching up on news with some often meeting for the first time, everyone is full of excitement and anticipation for the wedding the next day. The Wayside Inn offers a perfect venue, allowing your guests the opportunity to enjoy the traditional first event of the weekend. Whether you select a plated meal, a casual buffet, or our fabulous cocktail/welcome party, everyone will know that this weekend will be something very special.

A Wedding Reception at the Wayside is designed to be a more formal and intimate affair. The Village Green Room, and the beautiful patio and gardens adjacent, help set the stage, allowing each Bride and Groom the opportunity to create a beautiful and memorable wedding day. Our receptions are booked for a five hour period. Evening events must conclude by 10:00PM.

Our Breakfast Buffet, held the following morning, has become a very popular conclusion to the wedding weekend. It provides a lovely opportunity to reminisce about the wedding, bid farewell to the Bride and Groom, and to thank your guests just one more time, for sharing in this special weekend. A farewell breakfast is booked as a two hour event from 9:30AM - 11:30AM.

Accommodations may be blocked at the Wayside Inn, or at our sister property, the Bradford Inn, tucked in just off the village Main Street, and a 5 minute stroll from the Wayside Inn. This block space is a courtesy arrangement for couples and their families who book an event at the Chatham Wayside Inn. Rooms are held for a specified amount of time, allowing you the chance to tell family and friends about your destination wedding.
