Set in the heart of the quaint seaside village of Chatham, the Wayside Inn offers a perfect location for any special event. The unforgettable charm and warm hospitality of the inn is evident in the distinctive attention to detail, wonderful food, and highly praised level of service.

Built in 1860 as a sea captain's home, the Chatham Wayside Inn today is an award-winning 56 room inn. The Wild Goose Tavern serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a cozy, and relaxed atmosphere. Our private and lovely Village Green Room is the perfect setting for a rehearsal dinner, brunch, luncheon or dinner event.

A separate foyer leads your guests into the Village Green Room which accommodates up to 80 guests...perfect for an intimate gathering. Vaulted skylights and meticulous attention to detail contribute to a gracious room for your event. French doors open to a private outside garden and bluestone patio, a very special inclusion with this venue.
